Conduct research and review the scientific literature to advance the understanding of the health and environmental profiles of alkylphenols and their ethoxylates

Communicate scientific findings to manufacturers, the supply chain and regulatory authorities.

Act as point of contact for APERC members with governmental agencies in regulatory rulemaking. Coordinate the development and submission of testing and scientific dossiers.

Advocate for science- and risk-based public policy and regulation related to nonyl- and octylphenol and their ethoxylates and derivatives

Manage consortia and act as point of contact for interactions with US EPA for activities under the Toxic Substances Control Act. TSCA Section 4 Testing Requirements. TSCA Section 6 Risk Evaluations.

Coordinate with supply chain for product stewardship and regulatory advocacy.
